IMMUNISATION
Immunisation is an integral part of preventative medicine which we strongly promote and advocate for.
At Main Medical Centre we provide free immunisation to children up to 18 years of age through the national immunisation program.
Flu vaccines are now available for the flu season both government funded and private vaccines.
We also provide the following vaccines to eligible patients:
- Flu vaccine to children below 5 years and adults above 65 years of age as well as people who have chronic respiratory illness, are immunocompromised or pregnant;
- Shingles and pneumonia vaccines to people who are 70 years wiser;
- Whooping cough vaccine to pregnant women and their partners;
- A range of other vaccines are available at Main Medical Centre and they can be provided to patients for an additional cost, so please, if you have any questions about other vaccines, ask your doctor or enquire at reception.
